  • Served as head coach of the St. Louis Rams from 2006-2008
  • Started collegiate coaching career at Idaho, handling the wide receivers in 1989 and 1990

  • Played quarterback at Idaho from 1982-86, earning offensive MVP honors for the Vandals in 1986
  • Son, Matt, also played quarterback for Idaho from 2014-17 and capped his career as the #2 passer in Idaho history
