Career


  • Entering fourth season as defensive backs coach for the Tigers
  • Under his leadership, Tiger secondary has consistently been one of the strengths of the team and has only enhanced the school's claim of being "DBU"
  • Tiger secondary has produced three NFL Draft picks, including first rounder Eric Reid in 2013
  • Mentored the 2011 Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year , Alfonzo Dennard, while serving as defensive back coach at Nebraska.
  • Previously served on Miles' LSU staff for three years from 2006-08, and was part of two BCS bowl victories, including a 38-24 win over Ohio State in the BCS National Championship

  • Native of New Iberia, LA
  • three-year starter at LSU in the secondary from 1989-1991
  • earned undergraduate degree from LSU in 1992
  • spent six seasons in the NFL – three with the Giants and three with the Lions
  • played in 90 NFL games with 60 starts
